GRANNY’S ATTIC DONATION GUIDELINES

Granny’s accepts donations of four grocery bags or four small boxes or a combination of the two.

One donation per car/donor per day – with the exception of donating multiple items/donations per day as long as the line-up behind your donor car is manageable or as space inside Granny’s donation area permits. Granny’s is happy to take more items based on available space, but the four bag/box limit is set so we can manage the influx of donations.

Yes, we take furniture – small and larger items. Smaller items can be donated within the four bag/box limit and larger items should be discussed with Granny’s prior to donation. Please email Granny’s at store@vashongrannysattic.org with pictures and descriptions of large donations or larger item donations (furniture) and we can arrange a time to have them donated.

We will try to accommodate as much/many of your donations as possible, please be aware of other donors waiting in line and respectful of the limited space within Granny’s Attic for donation acceptance and storage. Because Granny’s is limited by what we can sell and how much space we have available there are items we no longer accept for donations (unless pre-arranged with us via email, we always try to take as much as we can).

Please note that donations close 30 minutes prior to the store. At times we must close donations early if we reach our daily capacity.  If this happens and you are unable to donate please contact us at the email address above to arrange alternate donation times.
