Granny’s Attic has a team of over 120 volunteers, some more active than others, but all who commit to at least three hours of volunteering per week based on their schedule and the needs of our organization.

The volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization and without them, the staff (both full and part time employees) would not be able to operate Granny’s Attic.

Volunteers work in various departments: sorting, organizing, pricing items, setting up the store, and assisting with the daily operations of Granny’s Attic.

As a thank you for their work, volunteers are afforded the opportunity to shop at Granny’s Attic before store hours. We also plan fun activities like volunteer lunches and offer volunteers a discounted membership at the Vashon Athletic Club.

While these perks are appreciated, the majority of volunteers are at Granny’s Attic because of their love for the community. They play a vital role on Vashon.
